JEMPERLI is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with:

    • a kind of uterine cancer called endometrial cancer (EC)

    - JEMPERLI may be used in combination with the chemotherapy medicines, carboplatin and paclitaxel, and then after that JEMPERLI may be used alone:

    • when a laboratory test shows that your tumor is mismatch repair deficient (dMMR) or microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H), and
    • your cancer has spread outside your uterus (advanced) or,
    • your cancer has returned

    - JEMPERLI may be used alone:

    • when a laboratory test shows that your tumor is dMMR, and
    • your cancer has returned, or it has spread (advanced EC), and
    • you have received chemotherapy that contains platinum and it did not work or is no longer working, and
    • your cancer cannot be treated by surgery or radiation.

It is not known if JEMPERLI is safe and effective in children.

    IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

JEMPERLI is a medicine that may treat certain cancers by working with your immune system. JEMPERLI can cause your immune system to attack normal organs and tissues in any area of your body and can affect the way they work. These problems can sometimes become severe or life-threatening and can lead to death. You can have more than one of these problems at the same time. These problems may happen anytime during treatment or even after your treatment has ended.

MORE SAFETY INFORMATION WILL BE SHARED LATER IN THE VIDEO

T Cell, Tumor Cell, Normal Cell

    AUDIO:
JEMPERLI is a type of treatment known as immunotherapy.

Immunotherapy works by helping the patient's immune system find, attack, and potentially kill cancer cells that make up the tumor. JEMPERLI works by blocking a protein called programmed death 1 (PD-1).

    ONSCREEN TEXT:
    Normal Cell, Tumor Cell, PD-L1, PD-1, T-Cell

    AUDIO:
Sometimes tumor cells can escape from the T cells in the immune system. T cells have a protein called PD-1 that can find and recognize a protein called PD-L1 on tumor cells...

Blocking PD-1 allows the T cell to find and attack the tumor cell.

    ONSCREEN TEXT:
Importance of Screening for the dMMR BioMarker

    AUDIO:
Biomarkers are molecules found in the tissues or fluids of your body that show if a condition, process, or disease is normal or abnormal. Knowing your mismatch repair, or MMR, status is important because your endometrial cancer may have biomarkers including mismatch repair deficiency, or dMMR. Knowing whether your endometrial cancer contains the dMMR biomarker may assist your doctor in determining the right treatment for you.

    ONSCREEN TEXT:
    Dosing

    AUDIO:
JEMPERLI is given through an intravenous (IV) infusion. The medical staff will prepare the medicine and then the IV infusion should take about 30 minutes.

    ONSCREEN TEXT:
Dosing, JEMPERLI and the chemotherapy medicines, carboplatin and paclitaxel, Every 3 weeks for 6 doses, Every 6 weeks starting with the 7th dose; JEMPERLI alone, Every 3 weeks for 4 doses, Every 6 weeks starting with the 5th dose

Your healthcare provider will decide how many treatments you need.

    AUDIO:
When JEMPERLI is used in combination with carboplatin and paclitaxel, it is usually given every 3 weeks for the first 6 doses. Beginning 3 weeks later, it is usually given alone every 6 weeks.

When JEMPERLI is used alone to treat dMMR recurrent or advanced EC, it is usually given every 3 weeks for the first 4 doses. Beginning 3 weeks later, it is usually given every 6 weeks.

Your healthcare provider will decide how many treatments you need and do blood tests to check you for side effects.

    AUDIO:
Make sure to inform your healthcare provider of any side effects you experience, so that they can take appropriate measures to address them. Visits for your infusion should not replace regular doctor visits. Your healthcare provider or providers will help monitor how you are doing during and after treatment with JEMPERLI and check you for side effects. Please contact them right away if you experience any side effects.
